Jan Simulambo is a Zambia football midfielder who played for Zambia in the 1974 and 1978 African Cup of Nations. ==Club career== Simulambo played football in the local Zambian league for most of his career. Starting out with the Livingstone Jets amateur FC he was snapped up by Zambia Army FC which later became Green Buffaloes. Simulambo played for the army side from 1971 to 1979 and won streaks of league and cup honours with them. In addition to this he once captained both club and the national team. A UK qualified accountant he was also a captain in the army and in 1980 he switched clubs and joined the Zambia Railways sponsored Kabwe Warriors. He was on the move again back to Lusaka where he joined Profund Warriors and later Lusaka Tigers before venturing South to Swaziland and joined Mbabane Highlanders FC, where he spent time as a player and coach. He enjoyed success coaching Highlanders, winning nine consecutive league titles from 1981 to 1989. Jani Simulambo once coached the Swaziland national team and drilled the team in their first ever win over Zambia. He managed South African Premiership side Bush Bucks F.C. from 1998 to 2000. He joined Black Leopards F.C. in July 2000. He also had stints with Lamontville Golden Arrows F.C. and Tembisa Classic F.C.
